Dr. Robert Kosut is a co-founder and Vice-President of the Control Engineering Division. Dr. Kosut received a B.S. from the City College of New York, and an M.S. and Ph.D. from the University of Pennsylvania, all in Electrical Engineering.  He has contributed to fundamental research in adaptive control, system identification, and robust control. He is a co-author of the book, Stability of Adaptive Systems: Passivity and Averaging Analysis (MIT Press, 1986) and has authored or co-authored over 200 journal and conference publications as well as several book chapters.  Dr. Kosut is a Life Fellow of the IEEE, has served on a number of editorial boards and Award Committees, and is presently a representative to the IEEE Nanotechnology Council.  Prior to SC Solutions, Dr. Kosut was Director of the Research Department at Integrated Systems Inc., and a Consulting Professor in the Electrical Engineering Department of Stanford University.
