Dr. Jon Ebert, Director of Systems and Control at SC Solutions gave a Webinar on August 6, entitled, “Simulating Feedback Control of Thermal Systems using COMSOL”.
Many manufacturing processes, such as semiconductor and materials processing, rely on feedback control to maintain their required yield and performance. In this webinar, Dr. Ebert demonstrated a systematic approach for implementing and tuning PID feedback controllers for thermal systems, reducing the need for trial-and-error. He also showed how to use COMSOL Multiphysics® to simulate the temperature control of a Rapid Thermal Processing (RTP) system.
