SC Solutions extends our congratulations to Dr. Mahantesh Hiremath on beginning his term as the 140th President of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers. Dr. Hiremath, who is Vice-President of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at SC Solutions, is an ASME Fellow, and has been an active member of ASME since 1997. He served as a member of the ASME Board of Governors from 2015 to 2019. Dr. Hiremath has a distinguished career spanning over 30 years and has the unique distinction of being only one of a handful in the world to design and engineer systems in four different environments – deep underground, off-shore, on-ground, and in space.
Founded in 1880, ASME promotes the art, science, and practice of multidisciplinary engineering and allied sciences around the globe via continuing education, training and professional development, codes and standards, research, conferences and publications, government relations, and other forms of outreach.
